ACRATH - Australian Religious Against the Trafficking of Humans

An Australian FCJ, Sr. Denise Mulcahy, continues to work for an organization called 'ACRATH' (Australian Catholic Religious Against the Trafficking of Humans ... website

Members of ACRATH in Canberra.Each year the organization goes to Canberra in an effort to collaborate with the Australian government. A full account of this work and the outcomes which followed it ar published in the Canberra Advocacy Report.

ACRATH publishes quarta regular newsletter, which is always available on their website. You can access the December 2012 issue here.  Items of interest include:  a reminder to look for FairTrade Christmas gifts, human trafficking in New Zealand, a visit to the Australian Institute of Criminology, combating child sexual exploitation on-line, Freedom Sunday, campaigns and news from Western Australia and a prayer resource.

The ACRATH website is a great place to look for resources in the area of trafficking.
