PERPETUAL PROFESSION of LUMINIŢA POPESCU, fcJ

Luminiţa made her Final Vows in Bucharest, Romania, in the church of Sacré Coeur on 25th February  2006… a day blessed by snow!

Archbishop Ioan Robu officiated at the Eucharist assisted by a number of priests. The Provincial, Sister Ruth Casey fcJ received the vows on behalf of the Society FCJ.

This was a truly historic and sacred moment not only for Luminiţa, but for our little FCJ community in Bucharest, and for the Church in Romania. We were seventeen  FCJs gathered from across the European Network to celebrate our first Romanian FCJ giving herself to the Lord ‘pe viaţa’.

We pray that Lumi’s enthusiasm and generous apostolic spirit may continue to inspire joy and hope in all  those she touches in her ministry.
