Tree planting ...
On April 5th 2008, the boys at st Joseph's boys’ home, Maasin, celebrated the death and legacy of Marie Madeleine.
The boys planted a beautiful flowering shrub in the garden of their home. The boys themselves prepared the ground and did the planting.

A significant aspect of life at St Joseph's is caring for the house and garden.
Many of the boys in St. Joseph's have no other home; some were abandoned and taken from the street and so creating a beautiful and clean place to live is essential to their learning.

Marie Madeleine d’Houët had a great love of orphans. We remember that in accordance with her wish she be buried with the orphans at Gentilly, Paris, France.

May Marie Madeleine pray for the boys of St Joseph's Home, Maasin.
