| For the last ten years I have been working in the Parish of Our Lady and St Cuthbert, Crook, Co Durham. I am involved in most of the Parish activities, but my main apostolate is visiting the sick and housebound, and taking Holy Communion to them.
Recently I was asked to lead a small prayer group in one of our local Residential Homes for the Aged. The appreciation of these old ladies, of all denominations, is so great that it fills me with joy and makes me wish I could do more!

There is a very good ecumenical spirit in the town, and this Lent I had the privilege of leading one of the Christian Fellowship Services for a congregation of sixty people in our local Salvation Army Hall.
But my main apostolate is to BE A PRESENCE in the Community and A WITNESS to the truth that GOD IS LOVE.
