Greetings from FCJ Spirituality House – Teach Spioradálta in the beautiful Spanish Point, County Clare in Ireland. Here is the latest newsletter.

Across the Waves
A chara,
Greetings from Spanish Point.
October was harvest time. After September’s busyness, it has been good to return to Saturday and weekend retreats with Killlaoe Pastoral Workers, Eoin Garretts poetry weekend, and Deirdre and Noirins reflections on our connections with ancestors and saints.
November will bring time for private groups to visit, for reflections on Christmas Carols and preparation for Advent. Places on our final two events for the year are almost full, so please book soon to avoid disappointment.
Please keep in touch
- if you’d like to attend an event (fcjspiritualityhouse.ie/events/)

God bless

Samhain, the beginning of the dark half of the year. A time for long, dark evenings and colder, wetter weather to set in and the animals to return to their sheds, a time for people to gather in each other’s homes and tell stories around the fire, and a time for the dead to come back to the living. The festival of Samhain marks the end of the old Celtic year and the beginning of the new one.

The FCJ Spirituality House, Teach Spiorodálta, is a home and spiritual haven of the FCJ Sisters, who have come to Spanish Point for generations for spiritual nourishment and refreshment. Now we would like to share our home with the wider community through spiritual moments, enjoyment of the natural beauty of creation, and the lifting of spirits with music, art and poetry.
Please see the events page for current listings. You can contact the House at info @ fcjspiritualityhouse.ie or by phone at +353 87 447 9115 with any questions.
