FCJ Christian Life Centre wants to offer a big thank you to everyone who joined the Clean-Up on Saturday, April 26. It was a great day to come together, enjoy the outdoors, and get the flower beds ready for the new season.
The morning began with a Prayer for Our Earth by Pope Francis. It was a beautiful reminder of our call to care for our common home, as he shares in Laudato Si’. With hearts centered in gratitude, all set off to work around the grounds.
Volunteers spent the morning cleaning, digging, and preparing all the flower beds. Thanks to many helping hands, our gardens are now ready for a fresh new season of life and beauty.
The day was also a way to celebrate World Earth Day (April 22) and the start of National Volunteer Week in Canada (April 27–May 3). It was a wonderful reminder of the power of service and the joy of working together.
Thank you again to all who gave their time and energy. Their care, commitment, and community spirit truly make a difference.
