As the school year has ended and a new academic year approaches, I look back on my ministry with a heart full of gratitude for the many hidden gifts that God has generously given me. Through my experiences of studying and serving as a formator at the Campus Ministry Office of Xavier Ateneo University, Cagayan de Oro, I have discovered strengths, blessings, and opportunities for growth that have brought me great joy and fulfilment. These experiences have also deepened my appreciation of God’s presence and guidance in my life, vocation, and ministry.

One of the greatest blessings is the opportunity to accompany young people, including undergraduate and graduate students, as they journey through their academic, personal, and spiritual lives. Through listening, mentoring, and being present to them, I have learned valuable lessons about faith, resilience, and hope.
A significant part of my work involves facilitating retreats and recollections for students from first year to fourth year, as well as graduate students. These experiences provide opportunities for reflection, prayer, and personal growth. I hope that my presence and service can be a source of encouragement and hope for those I accompany.
At the same time, this ministry has helped me grow personally, spiritually, and professionally. It has strengthened my faith, deepened my commitment to service, and revealed gifts of listening, compassion, and accompaniment that I continue to develop each day.

As I reflect on this journey, I thank God for the privilege of serving in campus ministry. Through accompanying young people and walking with them in their faith journeys, I have discovered not only the joy of serving others but also the hidden gifts that God has lovingly placed within me.
