An Oasis of Spiritual Refreshment for Educators
FCJ Outreach is providing a social service in the form of a one-day recollection for 450 teachers from the Kanisius Foundation, Yogyakarta Branch, at the Sarasvita FCJ Centre. Carrying the theme “Enhancing Emotional and Spiritual Intelligence through Nonviolent Communication,” this major program runs like a marathon from April 2026 to February 2027.

Incredible enthusiasm was shown by the participants of batches 1–4 who attended on April 24–25 and May 8–9. Through materials on distinguishing thoughts from awareness as well as stress management, this recollection truly became a joyful oasis. To make it even more special, the teachers went home with peaceful hearts and relaxed bodies after receiving a bonus soothing sound healing session from Amei Lee. Thank you, teachers, and keep growing!
Leadership Workshop
A total of 23 principals and teachers from the Darma Putri Association Foundation, managed by the Sisters of Our Lady (Soeurs de Notre Dame), participated in a leadership training workshop themed „The Resilient Leader: Building Leadership with Integrity and Empathy” at the St. Julie Billiart Formation House in Lawang, East Java, from May 15–17, 2026. I was very grateful and amazed to witness the participants’ active engagement and solid cooperation throughout the intensive three-day training. Through meditation and Nonviolent Communication the participants learned to strengthen their leadership competencies with integrity, embrace both their potential and limitations, and build more honest and authentic connections to improve the quality of education within the Foundation.
Deep Talk, Detox
Sarasvita FCJ Centre bore silent witness to a profound inner journey during an event titled „Deep Talk, Detox,” organized by Ms. Retno Iskandar, CIM and Team, on May 6, 2026. Raising the premise that „the body keeps what the mind tries to forget,” this workshop invited participants to learn to listen to and understand their own body language. Furthermore, participants were guided to release trapped negative energy blocks through a deep meditation session with Agnes Samosir, fcJ, and sound vibration therapy (singing bowls) led by Ms. Ika Rahutami and Ms. Amei Lee.
