The 2026 United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP31) takes place from 9 to 20 November 2026 in Antalya, Türkiye, hosted by Turkey and Australia. Jesuits around the world and the Global Ignatian Advocacy Network are inviting us to sign up their Jesuits for Climate Justice: Faith in Action at COP31:
As the world gathers in Antalya, Türkiye, for COP31 – the 31st United Nations Climate Change Conference –, the Society of Jesus continues walking the journey towards socio-environmental justice. Grounded in faith and solidarity, [this global campaign] seeks to lift up the voices of communities already bearing the heaviest consequences of the climate crisis and calls for courageous and urgent action.
Consider supporting this campaign and praying for the success of COP31. You can find prayer resources prepared by the Jesuits here.
