On February 5th, the FCJ sisters in Edmonton joined the Edmonton Catholic School District staff for Faith Development Day at the Edmonton Convention Centre. During the course of the day, a video was played in honour of the 130th anniversary of Catholic schools in Edmonton.
Some of our Sisters are featured in it, as narrators in the history of the school system, and the FCJ contribution to this pioneer work. The FCJ sisters were the first sisters in the Edmonton Catholic schools.
The District produced another video for its 125th Anniversary five years ago.
