FCJ College in Benalla presented their latest short film as part of the Let’s Find Our Voice Project. Witness the power of music and connection when young students join forces with the Benalla Community to star in their very own music video. Forever Young has been written and directed by the talented Christine Knight and assisted by Aquila Productions.
The Let’s Find Our Voice program is a wellbeing project that brings together community members together with students from FCJ College to form a community choir. This choir practises for eight weeks before performing a concert for everyone involved. The Let’s Find Our Voice program promotes a sense of purpose, altruism, and the character strengths of kindness and leadership. An integral part of the project is the making of a lip sync film. This allows the participants to learn about the complexity of film making. The initiative is now in its second decade.
As a highlight of the concert, FCJ College unveiled a special screening of “Forever Young,” a captivating film conceptualized and directed by Christine Knight. Chronicling the journey of a community choir, the film offers a poignant portrayal of the transformative power of music.
