The FCJ sisters in Ende, on the island of Flores, Indonesia, welcome people into their community for various activities and gatherings. During Lent, community and neighbors came to join in a prayer of reconciliation led by FCJ sisters, and received the Sacrament of Reconciliation from the parish priest, with space for communal and personal prayer in the community Chapel.
A Lenten Reconciliation for youth on the theme of Ecological Conversion took place on April 28. Approximately 30 young people from various schools and colleges joined the community. Once a week, they also provide a space for children to come, learn, and play in their home. During the month of Mary, on May 17, their Basic Ecclesial Community (BEC) gathered to pray the Rosary in the house.
The sisters are always grateful and happy to welcome people into their community home. They are blessed, and may the people who come into their home be blessed in every way too.
