Come and See

Sr Sisca fcJ, from the Baciro community in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, writes:

On 17 May, 13 young people visited our Baciro community to participate in a Come and See Program. They engaged in a session that described the history, life, and ministry of FCJ worldwide. During the Q&A session on religious life, particularly the FCJ community, there was lively interaction and the participants‘ enthusiasm and eagerness to learn were evident.

Reflective moments followed, where each person was invited to write down their prayer intentions, which were then included in the Rosary Prayer. Participants described their experiences with heartfelt words like „warm welcome,“ „a sense of home,“ and „friendship.“ They highlighted moments filled with prayer, peace, and joy, capturing the essence of their time together. It was indeed an encouraging day in which, as a community, we are committed to “generously opening our homes and community life with courage and conviction, witnessing to our FCJ Life with joy” (General Chapter 2025)

We are committed to generously opening our homes and community life with courage and conviction, witnessing to our FCJ Life with joy.
