The Sisters, Faithful Companions of Jesus welcome your visit to their web sites and want you to know that they are committed to providing visitors a safe browsing environment that respects their privacy.
Our web sites do not automatically gather any specific personal information from you, such as your name, phone number or e-mail address. We would only obtain this information if you supply it by sending us an email or by sending a message to the Visitors’ Book page of our sites in which you include your name, email or other personal information as part of the message for publication in the Visitors’ Book. We remind visitors that email is not a secure method of information transmission and it is recommended that sensitive personal information not be transmitted in that way.
If you send us an email through the website, we will use it only to reply to your email if that seems appropriate and/or to ask you if you wish to be on a mailing list to receive information from us about updates to our web sites.
You may always ask to be removed from our mailing list and your request will be attended to promptly. We make no other use of your email address and do not, for any reason, pass any personal information about you to any other party. Should you wish to be on our e-mailing list, we will keep a record only of your name and email address.
Our web sites are hosted on secure servers owned by Knight Enterprises Inc. We make no use of server logs in a way that would enable us to identify individual visitors. (For security purposes, for example to detect intrusions to our web sites, the server log data may if necessary be used.)
At this time, our web sites do not normally place ‘cookies’ or any other data on the visitor’s computer to track how our visitors use our site or to determine sites previously visited. Visiting our site with ‘cookies’ disabled will not affect your browsing experience.
We are particularly concerned with the safety of children who may access our sites. We do not collect any personal information from children and remind parents that they have the primary obligation to ensure that their children’s use of the internet is well supervised.
From time to time, we publish on the internet, certain of our “in house” publications, for example newsletters. When those who are not members of the FCJ Society contribute to these publications, their consent will normally be sought before including their contributions in the web editions of these publications.
Our web sites include many pictures. We do not name the people in the pictures who are not members of the FCJ Society or on the staff of FCJ schools and institutions without the consent of those pictured.
For your convenience, our sites contain hyperlinks to third party web sites. We do not control, endorse, or guarantee the content found in such sites and their privacy policies may differ from ours.
