FCJ Sisters in Manila community participated in the Philippines Conference on New Evangelization (PCNE) XII. The theme of this conference is SANGKAY: ‘I have called you friends” (John 15:15). On the first day, 24 July 2026, we facilitated one session on the Pathways of prayer through Labyrinth. The venue of programme is in University of St. Thomas in Manila. We grateful to have this opportunity for sharing the spirituality of friendship and contemplation prayer through labyrinth with others.
On 25 July 2026 is the second day of the Philippines Conference on New Evangelization (PCNE) XII in Manila. Elizabeth, Felicia (novices) and Maria Sunarni FCJ attended this big gathering. It began with Laudato Si’ Prayer in union with creation, led by Rev. Fr. Lino Gregorio Redoblado. OFM, Minister Provincial of the Province of San Pedro Bautista – Philippines. It grounded in the spirituality of Laudato Si’, participants gathered in prayer to give thanks for the gift of creation and to renew their commitment to care for our common home. The morning prayer invited the faithful to recognize that friendship with Christ also calls us to live in harmony with one another and with all God’s creation.
One of the inspiring reflections shared by His Eminence Luis Antonio Cardinal Tagle and panelists on the talk Heart to Heart remind us that caring for our common home is caring for humanity, that peace is rooted in justice, and that every act of friendship planted in Christ become a seed hope for future generations. May these words also inspire us to become companions who listen, serve, and witness in the Gospel. In every encounter, may we find God who invited us to have authentic friendship and faithful accompaniment.
