On 19th April the invitation to Easter Paint Night at the FCJ Christian Life Centre was warm:
– Join us for a night that combines prayer, socializing and most of all, the opportunity to capture your faith in a beautiful painting!
– Keep expressing the joy and the power of the Resurrection through the Easter season!
– At 50 days long, Easter is the Church’s longest liturgical season …. We all need help keeping alive and bright the flame of faith, hope and love enkindled on Easter Sunday.
– Start your night with a ‘Lectio Divina’ led by Sr Madeleine Gregg FCJ and paint the night away under the artistic instruction of Mirna Farahat. No painting experience needed.
The response was enthusiastic! There was a full house, and participants spent the evening in heart-warming companionship, praying, reflecting and painting together, inspired by the enduring message of Easter.
