FCJ Institutions and Schools
Since the beginning of the Society in 1820 the Society has had a variety of corporate works. Marie Madeleine founded charity/poor schools, day schools and boarding schools, orphanages, night classes for women and retreat centres. The value of a corporate work is that its life span extends beyond that of an individual's contribution.
Today the Society has a range of institutions for which it is responsible. These include centres for women and refugees, schools and centres of spirituality. Without the competent leadership of lay colleagues, our sphere of influence would be lessened.
Take a look at some of these centres.
