The General Chapter began with a time of retreat. The capitulars continue to punctuate the days with times of prayer and reflection. Each morning, begins with prayer and time for faith-sharing, based on a theme. This prepares the Sisters for the work of that particular day.
The faith-sharing has opened us up to each other, and to the work of the Spirit among us. It has enabled us to grow in appreciation of our different realities and our common vision.
Throughout our working we have many opportunities to pause for silent prayer, discerning what should be the next steps in the process.
At the end of each day, the capitulars gather in the beautiful chapel to celebrate the Eucharist together. Fr Michael, OFM, whose sensitivity and insight has supported our work, ensures it is a real moment of thanksgiving in our day.
