The FCJ General Chapter is made up of delegates from each of our Areas and ex-officio members (people who attend the chapter because of the role they hold, on behalf of the Society).
The four Areas in which FCJ sisters live and work are:
The Area of the Americas – Canada and the USA
The Area of Asia – Indonesia, the Philippines and Myanmar
The Area of Australia – Australia
The Area of Europe – Britain, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Romania and Switzerland
The ex-officio members are the General Superior and the General Assistants, the Area Leaders and the General Bursar.
The delegates were elected by the professed FCJ Sisters in a process that took place shortly after the General Chapter was convoked, towards the end of 2024. They have been working in preparation for the Chapter, with input from the sisters in their particular Area, throughout 2025.
The FCJ Sisters and Companions in Mission have prayed each day for the work of the Society since its convocation.
