A day of reflection and stillness, by the sea, with Nóirin Lynch, director of FCJ Spirituality House, Spanish Point:
On the weekend of Palm, or Passion, Sunday; join us for a one day retreat to prepare for Holy Week. We gather at 10am with coffee, and across the afternoon we have short reflections with time for walks, restful reflections and prayer. Each day has a seasonal theme, and a light lunch is included.
Holy Week is the most important week of the year for Christians, a narrative that invites us into the full experience of Jesus of Nazareth, his apostles, family, friends and followers. As we journey, we recognise our story in the Holy week story. Our joys, challenges, sorrows and hope. Life, death and resurrection, the Paschal Mystery, is our story too.
