In Loving Memory of Sr. Gerardine "Ger" Curran, fcJJune 19, 1955- October 1, 2026We, the FCJ Centre staff and FCJ Sisters, are deeply saddened to share the news of the passing of our beloved Sr. Ger on October 1, 2026.Our deepest sympathy and prayers are extended to her family, friends, and to all those whose lives she touched and loved. We also hold the FCJ Sisters in Calgary and around the world in our thoughts and prayers during this time of loss.Sr. Ger will be greatly missed as a mentor, friend, companion, counsellor, and a woman whose life was dedicated to serving others. She made an outstanding contribution to the FCJ Centre and to the wider interfaith community. We remember with gratitude her compassionate work with refugees, her deep love and care for the environment, and her commitment to mental health and counselling.As an FCJ Local Leader in Calgary, she served with dedication, wisdom, and compassion.
