Walking Together Even When It Is Hard

The Cagayan de Oro FCJ community recently gathered seven young women for a meaningful recollection centered on the theme ‘Walking Together Even When It Is Hard’. Drawing inspiration from Mary and the holy women, the program invited participants to explore the virtue of faithfulness in their spiritual lives and relationships.

During the recollection, the young women engaged in deep reflection and prayer, sharing personal experiences of God’s faithfulness. They explored meaningful questions about accompaniment, identifying the people they are called to support and considering whether they choose to remain present with others during difficult times or withdraw when challenges arise.

The prayerful atmosphere created space for genuine spiritual growth and honest dialogue. Participants left the gathering with renewed commitment to walking faithfully alongside one another, inspired by the example of Mary and the holy women who remained steadfast in their faith.

The recollection concluded with a delicious lunch cooked by Wina fcJ, strengthening the bonds of faith community among those young women. Despite the small group size, the gathering proved to be a lovely and spiritually enriching experience for all who attended.
