On 21st September, we celebrate the birthday of Marie Madeleine, who founded the FCJ Society in France almost 200 years ago. Join us as we make a novena in her memory prepared by our sisters in the Philippines.
Day 6: I Thirst
13 June 1817, feast of the Sacred Heart. Waiting for Mass in the Chapel, Marie Madeleine ‘heard’ from the crucifix the words I thirst and, kneeling in adoration, she was led to offer herself unreservedly for whatever might be asked of her in order to respond to the Lord’s thirst for the fullness of life for all God’s people.
