Thanking the Generous Support of Donors

The latest FCJ Project News bulletin has been published by the FCJ Sisters in Indonesia to thank the kind and generous support of donors. You can read more about their projects.

Dear Readers,

We are delighted to present our latest newsletter and hope you enjoy reading it. In this edition, you will get a glimpse into the lives and academic journeys of some of our current students.

First, we would like to introduce you to Vebi and Maura, two of our junior high school scholars from Ende, Flores. Moving on to our university students in Yogyakarta, you will meet Siska, who is studying Guidance and Counseling. You will also meet Vio, who is pursuing Catholic Religious Education, and Zaka, who is training to become an elementary teacher; Rohit who is studying in Economics and Tasya in Biology. All of our university scholars are pursuing their degrees at Sanata Dharma University, an institution run by the Jesuits.

You will also discover how the FCJ Charity Project Team is walking alongside families with disabilities, helping them navigate daily and economic challenges through their black garlic-making initiative.

You will also see how we continually strive to live out our commitment to caring for the Earth. We involve our scholarship students in environmental efforts by teaching them to process organic waste into eco-enzymes, which are then further developed into eco-friendly bath soap and laundry detergent.

The vital work of the FCJ Charity Project in Indonesia is only possible thanks to the immense generosity of our donors. We offer our heartfelt thanks to all of you who support our efforts and accompany these young people in shaping their futures.
